Vinyl is a durable and versatile material made from a synthetic resin or plastic consisting of polyvinyl chloride if you want to get all technical about it. It is used for wallpapers and other covering materials in general. Remember records? Or vinyls as they’re often called? You young-uns might not have a clue what we’re on about but they used to use vinyl as a method of playing music!

The possibilities are endless when it comes to this material and what you can do with it, not to mention where you can stick it.

So why choose a wall sticker over a regular old piece of art, or wall paper? Well, it’s not always a case of choosing – traditional art and wall paper can be accented with a sticker. But then again, it’s a modern and fun way to decorate that can be 100% personal to you. Not only can you stick them to the walls but also the floor, ceiling, windows and pretty much any smooth, non-porous surface. So it’s up to you to get inventive, or at least give the designers something to get inventive with. Believe me…there’s nothing more than a sticker company loves than to be let loose with an idea. Of course, if it needs to stay within a budget then this might affect the end design but it is totally possible to decorate within a budget with vinyl as it’s a really affordable way to decorate. A lot more affordable than a bespoke piece of art! Just saying.
